Zenu® Technology Nominated for Prestigious Economist Magazine's Innovation Award

Zenu Called "The Epitome of Ingenuous Simplicity"

HUNTSVILLE, AL (June 2, 2006) - ChangeTools, Inc., an Alabama technology start-up, and their Zenu technology will be recognized at the Economist Magazine's Fifth Annual Innovation Awards held November 9, 2006 in London, United Kingdom. According to The Economist (www.economist.com), innovation isn't just the talent to dream a new dream, but the skills and perseverance needed to make the dream reality.

Zenu is poised to change the way we perceive and use handheld communications and computing devices. Anyone whose ever struggled with navigating their PDA, SmartPhone, or other small-screen user device; or yearned for real-time data access in the field; or wanted to extend and customize their user interface will appreciate Zenu's impact on mobile computing.

"As computing and communications devices become more compact and portable, the usability of these devices suffer from cramming and complexity on their small screens and keyboards,"

Thomas A. Furness III
Professor & Director International
Human Interface Technology Laboratory (HITLab)
University of Washington

"I've nominated ChangeTools because Zenu is the epitome of ingenuous simplicity." In his nomination letter, Dr. Furness continued, "ChangeTools has developed and patented this clever interface tool with six simple menu options that provides access to all the functionality of the device and network, with or without a stylus. The Zenu interface is so simple that it can even be operated with only one hand. Zenu will likely revolutionize the way we work with mobile technology by providing users with complete control over their data and a greater level of usability," added Dr. Furness.

"The key to the Zenu technology is the user-definable interface (UDI) that can be used on any pointer-enabled electronic device to minimize 'cursor commute'," stated Frederick Ordway, ChangeTools CEO and Co-Founder. The UDI has numerous graphical levels each having a variety of command regions. Because only one of the levels appears at a given time, the UDI is displayed in a common position always near the pointer's position.

Zenu is part of ChangeTools ZenuSuite™ technology. Because ZenuSuite's client-side user interface is capable of running on nearly any computing platform, it delivers familiarity, usability, interoperability, and reduced training and support costs. The ZenuSuite server-side command and control component allows for the rapid development and deployment of custom applications for communicating data to the field . In addition, ZenuSuite's bandwidth-saving connectivity and wireless security facilitates critical information flows efficiently and economically to authorized personnel in real-time. Synchronization between mobile and static computing systems is no longer necessary because 'live' data is available wherever these devices can communicate.

About ChangeTools, Inc.:
ChangeTools Inc. has developed and patented Zenu®, an interface based method for building advanced mobile applications that simplify the exchange of information.
