What is ZenuSuite?

While the Zenu interface makes 'using' data remarkably simple, it is the ZenuSuite that is the true powerhouse behind the data. ZenuSuite features a server-side user interface design tool coupled with a rapid and secure data communications infrastructure. Zenu is not an operating system, a database, a programming language, nor an API (Application Programming Interface). ZenuSuite builds on your existing development environment for accessing, mining, inputting, and transferring data - be it textual, graphical, auditory, or a combination of all three. With ZenuSuite, one can easily and productively build workflow-based applications to access required data.

ZenuSuite Features (see diagram below)
The ZenuSuite methodology offers a robust and user-friendly solution to technical issues confronting both wired and wireless data access. ZenuSuite is composed of four parts:

• ZTool^™
  ZTool is a server-side user interface design tool that utilizes standard interface templates for ensuring Zenu usability. Once a user interface has been designed, ZTool creates the language necessary to integrate any industry-specific application with the Zenu interface. As such, a system administrator has the power to design functionality and simple user interfaces that present only the most relevant options to client users - enhancing situational awareness regardless of whether users reside in an office, in the field, at a cleint's place of business, or on the battlefield.
   
  • ZML^™
    Designed to promote bandwidth efficiency, ZML (Zenu Markup Language) is an austere XML-based language that uses extremely small tags and short data streams to communicate between the Zenu application and a networked server. ZML code can be integrated with any server-side application to provide data access and updating capability. ZML ensures fast data delivery which reduces airtime costs and extends battery life of mobile devices.
     
    
  • Zenu Communication Infrastructure
    The Zenu Communication Infrastructure works in conjunction with ZML to provide real-time synchronization between server-side data and applications and client-side desktops, PDAs, and Smartphones. Wherever a network can be found, ZLink works to ensure field users have access to the latest approved information and functionality.
     
• Zenu GUI^™
  The Zenu GUI (Graphical User Interface), or just plain Zenu as it is known, is an intuitive and patented interface that provides access to any industry-specific applications and data regardless of a user's environment and chosen computing device. The Zenu GUI is especially helpful on devices with limited screen sizes like those found on today's mobile devices. Because the Zenu GUI provides a standardized interface, it easily supports the input of, and access to, any text, graphical, or auditory data that a handheld device supports. And because the Zenu keys are big enough to type with one thumb or a finger, the user doesn't even need a stylus. One thumb is all it takes to rapidly enter information, query a database and retrieve records, send an e-mail, and much more. For data input, the Zenu GUI also includes a trainable voice command feature, as well as a predictive text interface.
